Global Web Support Team Lead

The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for a dedicated Global Web Support Team Lead to manage 6 team members from the solution and IT support  team for the ecommerce platforms.

This role will be a full-time position based out of our Bucharest, Timpuri Noi, office - hybrid mode or can be remote for person applying outside Bucharest.

Working independently with general supervision, the Copywriter is responsible for the development of compelling creative concepts and high-quality verbal and written content, within brand and on strategy, across a large variety of print and digital media. This position research, develops and writes targeted and compelling content including marketing, promotional and web campaigns, social media, product and equipment demonstrations, white papers, sales materials, video segments and more to support Avantor’s growing portfolio of biopharma, marketing, lab services and other and life science divisions.

The team

Avantor's creative IT support group team consists of individuals spread globally.

The role is 80% operational and 20% team management. The team serves as the connection between the engineering team that builds websites and pages, the product owners, and the commercial teams.

What we’re looking for:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field; equivalent experience, in lieu of degree may be considered.
• Experience: 5-7+ years applicable experience in eCommerce support and online storefronts is required.
• Web support or Customer Service experience with various Incident Management solutions required.
• SAP experience: extensive Internet technology knowledge and SAP R/3 preferred.
• Knowledge of various b2b e-procurement solutions (Ariba, SciQuest, Hubwoo, Oracle…etc.).
• Comfortable with various e-business formats (cXML, xCBL, EDI ANSI-X12, OCI / punchout) and communication protocols (https, SFTP, AS2).
• Outlook and MS Office Suite experience.
• Click-2-Chat experience.
• Practical project management experience.
• Fluent in oral and written English.

• Production support during outages Monitoring Applications 24*7 Support for performance issues.
• Plan, deploy, document, and maintain application environments Production deployment. Deployment of new software, upgrades and application code across environments
• Based on documentation and scripts, provide monitoring & support
• Support for technical upgrades Configuration / data changes in production [data embedded in programs/systems]
• Application Access control Install third party and proprietary software Provide Level 2 technical support (24x7) for enterprise & business-related applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system impairments and outages Troubleshoot software and configuration errors.
• Assist in technical evaluations and proof of concepts Identifying and resolving configuration, installation, and application compatibility issues.
• Research and gather performance statistics on application servers Analyze and provide hardware and software server requirements.
• The assistant mgr should also have IT Service Mgmt experience to Oversee Incident/change/release management approval and processes. Able to make proactive recommendations based on KPI, SLA, system metrics. generate Analytics & ReportingSupport peers by reviewing work to ensure zero errors in work per above
• Edit and proofread material as demand and scheduling requires.
• Support leadership in helping to build a unified team mindset.
