Job Description:

   

The Professional Services Practice Project Manager (PM) partners closely with NonStop Practice by working directly with external customers to manage and execute complex projects. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of HPE solutions and services delivered directly by HPE and by our partners. The PM is the primary contact for the customer and Technical Consultants, managing all aspects of the project and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet project objectives.  

The PM is responsible for planning, controlling, and overseeing the projects. The PM is responsible for establishing effective working relationships with internal teams, such as account managers and sales teams. He/she also collaborates directly with partners to secure projects and assignments.

The key focus is to ensure that project completion leads to an exceptional customer experience through the management of project sizing, scope, schedule, resources, and risks.


Job specifics/responsibilities:


Deliver Project Management services for the NonStop with the ultimate objective of driving customer demand with measurable financial impact.

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring that all project components align with customer requirements and contractual commitments between HPE, partner and customer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the account team, delivery personnel, order management, to ensure successful project execution, billing and client invoicing.
  • Take full ownership of project objectives and outcomes. Ensure that project goals are achieved, and performance meets or exceeds the customer's expectations.
  • Equip and enable the team to execute with excellence: track and monitor progress, define key performance indicators, behavior drivers, or success metrics/OKRs.
  • Report status against projects; facilitate regular team “look-back” debriefs to capture lessons learned, VoC and other survey/feedback insights, iterate and continuously improve project management practices and approaches for productivity and future planning.
  • Pro-actively drive campaigns to build pipelines, bring expert knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close projects.
  • Establish a trusted and consultative relationship with internal teams as well as with partners and customers.
  • Acts as single point of contact for customer escalation being managed under his/her responsibility ensuring management is briefed, consulted and informed of any escalation.
  • Lead and oversee the timely data entries from technical consultants in the projects under his/her responsibility as well as data accuracy and dashboard, working closely with the practice leaders.
  • Lead the tactical invoicing close out with order management as well as the financial reporting (revenue and cost) for all engagements working closely with the Finance Practice Lead to ensure invoicing and financial billing is reported accurately. This includes the review of the data through established governance e.g. MBRs, QBRs etc.
  • Support junior project managers as they are onboarded providing project management oversight and working closely with the Leaders to drive improvements to our operating framework.

Education (degree) and professional experience required

  • University degree (Business Administration, Technical Education)
  • 10-15 years project management experience
  • PMP certified 
  • Experience with stakeholder reporting and communication including KPIs
  • Knowledge on service offerings and operational processes
