As the Vice President, you’ll be responsible for optimizing the company’s physical work environment with the digital workplace to create an effective, collaborative, and ideal experience for leaders and associates.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with the office of the CIDO to develop the associate and experience roadmap that connects as needed with the customer digital experience roadmap. Drives adoption of new phygital strategies, technologies including AI, digital literacy, and physical changes, ensuring customers and associates experiences are supported through transitions.

  • Develop and execute integrated “phygital” (physical and digital) strategy.  Define and champion a holistic vision for the “phygital” experience that seamlessly blends physical experiences with digital tools and platforms, aligning with overall business objectives and culture.

  • Oversee the experience of all digital tools and platforms, including communication, collaboration, productivity, and specialized software, ensuring they are intuitive, secure, and meet evolving needs. Operationalize AI productivity tools as part of the optimized and unified experience.

  • Oversee meeting rooms and space planning to ensure safe, efficient, and inspiring environments that are seamless and support productivity, communication, and knowledge sharing

  • Drives data-driven insights and continuous improvement.  Establish metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of both phygital solutions, using data to identify pain points, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Manages strategic relationships with internal partners and key vendors providing physical space services, digital platforms, and related technologies, ensuring alignment optimal value and service delivery.

  • Oversee budget and staffing resource allocation across physical facilities, digital tools, and the teams supporting integrated experiences.

  • Identify and implement solutions (both physical and digital) that remove friction, streamline workflows, and enhance overall effectiveness and satisfaction.

  • Oversee the provision of robust and responsive technical support for all phygital tools and infrastructure, as well as the maintenance and optimization of physical office technologies.

  • Continuously explore emerging technologies and trends, championing pilots and new approaches to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.

  • Responsible or leading a team of high performing professionals; including performance management, salary planning, skill development, hiring and corrective actions.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned. 

Reporting Relationships:  Reports to SVP, Chief Technology Officer, Corporate Technology & Workplace Solutions.  Manages a team of six direct reports and approximately 50 indirect reports.

Typical Skills and Experiences: 

Education: Undergraduate studies in Technology, Finance, Procurement, or related field.  Degree is preferred.

Experience: Ten or more years of experience technology or corporate real estate experience. Five or more years of leadership experience preferred.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of corporate real estate and workplace technology concepts and techniques. Successful candidates will have strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work with technical and business teams including virtual teams. Must have the ability to make decisions and recommendations on strategies while considering various options for business units and senior management.
