About the Role:
Demandbase is seeking an experienced FP&A Sr. Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial modeling and strategic analysis — preferably within SaaS, investment, or consulting environments. You’ll play a key role in supporting leadership with accurate forecasting and actionable insights to drive profitability, efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
The base compensation range for this position for candidates in the SF Bay Area is: $82,000 - $124,000. For all other locations, the base compensation range is based on the primary work location of the candidate as our ranges are location specific. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skillset, years of experience, and depth of experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the consolidation of financial forecasts across all three financial statements — P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Support global headcount reporting and analytics, including regular updates for leadership and close collaboration with the People and Recruiting teams
- Support hosting and COGS-related costs forecasting activities across multiple vendors in partnership with the Cloud Engineering team
- Partner with Accounting to deliver accurate monthly and quarterly expense forecast, ensuring alignment with financial close processes
- Collaborate with Procurement on PO approvals, data integrity, and assessing impacts on expense and cash forecasts
- Drive the annual planning process and manage ongoing Budget vs. Actuals (BvA) analysis
- Serve as the system owner for the financial planning tool, ensuring it is used consistently, efficiently, and effectively across the FP&A team
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in FP&A, management consulting, investment banking, or a related analytical role with 3 years of experience or more
- Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel — comfortable building and enhancing models to support complex business decisions
- Excellent communication skills — able to confidently present insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the business
- Familiarity with SaaS business models and the metrics that drive them
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple priorities, and bring forward ideas that drive continuous improvement
- Someone who’s excited to play a key role in shaping strategic financial decisions and contributing to a high-impact, collaborative team
