Job Summary
Under general direction of the Director of Data Systems, the Data Visualization Analyst in the Office of Data Management will be responsible for creating and designing on-brand visual text and imagery concepts that successfully communicate ideas and information in way that’s captivating to a variety of audiences. This individual will create data-driven reports and materials that align with the division's branding to ensure consistency across all internal and external communications. The role involves leveraging various tools, including Power BI, Adobe Suite, and other visualization platforms, to transform both quantitative and qualitative data into engaging and insightful visual narratives. Additionally, the individual will assist in the creation and updating of internal business documents such as annual reports, marketing materials, presentations, web templates, and infographics.
This is a hybrid position: team members who are past their probationary period work three days per week in the office and telecommute two days per week. Schedule requirements could change based on needs.

Key Qualifications
- Design, develop, and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for SEM using Power BI, Adobe Suite, and other visualization tools.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders within SEM to understand data needs and deliver insightful, visually appealing reports and presentations.
- Integrate quantitative data (e.g., enrollment trends, student demographics) and qualitative data (e.g., survey responses) to create comprehensive visual reports.
- Ensure all visualizations adhere to the SEM division's branding and style guidelines, maintaining a cohesive look and feel across internal and external communications.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards that allow stakeholders to engage with and explore data independently.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts, or a related field and two years of design experience
Salary and Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Range: $62,000 - $85,000
Classification Range: $52,620 - $95,220 Per Year
