Verdantas is now hiring a Sr. LSRP Consultant to support our Sommerville, NJ office.
Responsibilities:
- Lead environmental technical teams to deliver high-quality work on environmental investigation and remediation projects throughout New Jersey and surrounding states
- Prepare proposals and manage technical projects, including NJDEP CSRR projects, CERCLA, and/or TSCA program projects, primarily in New Jersey, with the goal of producing high-level technical quality deliverables, maintaining client satisfaction, and maximizing project profitability
- Manage decision making and senior technical review for complex environmental projects, including multi-media contamination, and a variety of contaminants including VOCs, SVOCs, Metals, PCBs, Pesticides, Petroleum, and PFAS
- Develop new clients and provide a high level of service to existing Verdantas clients, including client engagement efforts and proposals. Mentor project management staff to develop their client-facing management and communication skills
- Collaborate with environmental assessment and remediation staff and peers to support cross-area proposal opportunities to identify, secure, and develop proposal opportunities and beyond to meaningfully contribute to Verdantas achieving our company sales goal
- Leverage capabilities of other practice areas within Verdantas, including civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental health and safety, natural resources, and digital technology, and promote the development of multi-disciplinary projects
- Manage loss prevention and quality control/consistency for their project/client team
Qualifications:
- Minimum four-year (accredited) college degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or other related technical discipline
- 15+ years of relevant experience
- Active New Jersey LSRP license and/or Professional Engineer license
- Demonstrated leadership and embodiment of the core values of Verdantas
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and integrity
- Engagement in impactful industry organizations is preferred
- Ability to work in a digitally integrated workplace, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams and the ability to digitally review complex environmental datasets
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel in one's own vehicle to a remote office or site locations is a requirement of the position
