Oregon State Treasury is recruiting for the position of Senior Procurement Officer. The primary purpose of this position is to manage, coordinate, and implement best procurement practices within the Oregon State Treasury that ensure compliance with applicable laws and rules that provides consistent and standardized forms and procedures from initial development through completed performance.
Job Duties Summary
Develop and maintain a contract reporting system and contract files, which contain complete records of the actions used to solicit, develop, and administer contracts. Maintain complete documentation of purchases and contracts. Coordinate and inform customers of options and processes to complete a successful procurement. Independently develop, negotiate and administer complex contracts and agreements. Manage the procurement and contracting procedures, legal requirements, and contract performance by monitoring contracts.
