Finance Manager, Metaverse

The Finance and Business Planning team enables Meta to plan, prioritize, and execute as effectively as possible. We take a uniquely long-term view towards business problems. It is critical that we operate with an independent and objective perspective and are comfortable representing our point of view to our partners and executive stakeholders. We serve as financial advisers to our business partners and own shared business goals and results where appropriate. In this role, you will be in charge of developing our financial strategy across the entire product portfolio over the next several years. This involves maintaining the P&L, understanding our cost structure and influencing financially sound outcomes. The role involves heavy partnership with Product Management, Product Marketing, Business Operations, and Finance teams to drive long term sustainable economics and influence the Product roadmap.Finance Manager, Metaverse Responsibilities

• Understand, impact, and influence business investment decisions through detailed financial analysis
• Provide hands-on analytical support and develop actionable insights throughout the product development process
• Drive data decision making and analysis of product decisions and roadmap investments
• Develop Product P&Ls across the Metaverse portfolio with an understanding of cost drivers and long-term implications of product line economics
• Provide insights to cross-functional business leaders through scenario based P&L modeling, surfacing risks and opportunities to influence financial outcomes
• Own ad hoc and operational projects as required, and drive process improvements by partnering with cross functional owners and finance teams
• Create business partnerships with various functions across the RL business
• Develop financial reporting for leadership and drive executive forums to influence financial decision making

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in finance, consulting, or related field
• 2+ years of FP&A experience
• Experience with building financial models in Excel
• Experience with PowerPoint, Oracle, and Hyperion
• Experience in accounting concepts and financial planning
• Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with leadership
• Experience navigating ambiguity
• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a high tech growth company
• Software financial modeling experience
