Transport Driver - Heavy Haul

Description

We are currently searching for transport drivers to haul equipment to/from job sites. Must be organized, detailed oriented, and comfortable working independently. A clean driving record and commercial driving experience is a must. 70% of our jobs are within 20 miles of our office and we offer competitive pay and benefits, including 401(k) with company match, so if you are tired of overnight and out of town travel, we just might be the company for you! 

 Responsibilities: 

• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle
• Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) from 80,000 - 160,000 lbs
• Transport heavy equipment - Excavators, Bulldozers, Loaders and Haul Trucks
• Load/unload equipment 
• Ensure equipment is properly secured in a truck, flatbed to prevent damage/injury
• Stay on a predetermined route and ensure timely transport and delivery
• Communicate with dispatch as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience hauling heavy equipment
• Must be able to operate the equipment to load/unload 
• Must have current DOT physical with valid class A CDL
• No more than 4 points in the last 3 years
• Must pass drug screen
