Your responsibilities

 

Lead in the reconciliation & confirm of all transactions (exchange trades, OTC trades, and brokerage fees and relevant details)

Assist in procurement, new hire onboarding and vendor access.

Support in daily Exchange (ICE, CME, NODAL) and Over-the-Counter customer margin processing.

Lead efforts to track and report KPIs in PowerBI to reduce operational issues.

Back up other team members as necessary with settlement processes for OTC counterparties for Gas, Helium and Environmental Products.

Support audit prep, internal compliance controls and operational reporting.

Support global Uniper business initiatives and ad-hoc projects.

Review & Approve invoicing payments in SAP and reconcile bank accounts.

 

  

Your profile

Undergraduate degree in Business, Math, Finance, Economics

0-5 years’ experience working in an energy trading organization in a back or middle office role.

Experience with natural gas and derivatives is a plus.

Initiative – Working in a trading environment is dynamic and fast paced; results must be delivered in a fast and efficient manner, which often requires the individual to take initiative and drive things to conclusion and not wait for things to happen

Problem Solving – the business relies on numbers and identifying problems and rectifying them is critical to the success of the business and the individual

Customer Service – the role serves a number of customers and working proactively to relay information and meet customer needs is a key driver of business success
