Associate Food Service

Work Shift:

Responsible for performing a variety of patient, cafeteria and catering services functions that may include patient visitation, tray assembly, distribution and service, general sanitation, cleaning and use of kitchen equipment and pantries

Qualifications:

A. Education & Training:
High School graduate or GED equivalent.
B. Experience:
None.

C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
None.

D. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and
memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present
information in one-on-one and small group situations to patients, families and
associates of the facility. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute
ratio, and percent and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense
understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, or oral form. Ability to
deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
