REMEITS AI/ML Engineering team drives innovation by creating machine learning solutions that transform complex real estate data into valuable insights. We focus on developing tools that enable advanced data integration, intelligent property matching, predictive analytics, and automated document understanding. With a mission centered on serving Japan’s real estate market, our team is developing solutions that empower clients with actionable insights tailored to regional trends. Working closely with data analysts and other engineering teams, we’re building systems that give REMETIS a competitive edge in data-driven decision-making.

■Responsibilities

You will report directly to the Head of Engineering. 

As a Specialist of  AI/ML Engineering, you’ll lead a team dedicated to building advanced AI solutions, collaborating with data analysts, and working closely with other engineering squads to ensure that machine learning capabilities are seamlessly integrated across the platform. You’ll play a key role in advancing REMETIS’s data insights and user experience, with a particular focus on complex document reading for enhanced data extraction and summarization capabilities tailored to the Japanese real estate market.

Key responsibilities include:

• Build and lead a high-performing AI/ML team focused on delivering scalable, impactful machine learning solutions that drive REMETIS’s data capabilities, enhancing the platform’s data integration, predictive analytics, and document processing capabilities for the Japanese market.

• Drive advanced data integration and insight capabilities within REMETIS, improving how data from multiple sources, including complex documents, is processed and combined to drive informed business decisions and strategy.

• Create intelligent property matching and feature extraction systems to identify patterns and similarities across real estate data, enabling users to discover similar properties or areas through advanced criteria beyond simple filtering.

• Implement and scale automated document reading capabilities that leverage AI/ML to extract critical information from complex real estate documents, such as selling offers, rent rolls and other real estate documents, and transform this data into REMETIS database models as well as clear, and actionable insights.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering squads to integrate AI/ML models into the REMETIS platform, coordinating with backend, frontend, and DevOps teams to ensure that machine learning insights are accessible, efficient, and seamlessly aligned with the broader technical ecosystem.

• Lead R&D projects in collaboration with data analysts to integrate data insights specific to the Japanese real estate market into AI/ML models, ensuring these models reflect local data trends and are fine-tuned for practical application. Drive the development of tools for investment and decision-making, leveraging AI-driven forecasts, market predictions, and user behavior modeling to provide REMETIS clients with impactful, forward-looking insights.
