The Product and Engineering team in the Cloud Native Business Unit is looking to bring on a Senior Technical Program Manager to join a team of TPMs focused on driving complex and cross-cutting initiatives and programs to meet our top objectives and key results and delight our customers.
In this role, you will take charge using your technical leadership and program management skills to drive execution with high quality for these key initiatives. You will be responsible for establishing best practices, collaborating across multiple business units and managing dependencies and deliverables for multiple programs. You will be working with a global team of software engineers who develop new features and capabilities with a rapid rate of change. You will be responsible for improving our development process and tooling to increase engineering excellence, quality and security.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- 8+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager; MS in computer science, MBA or engineering management equivalent preferred
- 6+ years solution management and delivery in a SaaS development environments and cloud architecture; proven track record of delivery complex cross-cutting programs
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Big picture thinker providing clarity on what we are trying to accomplish, understanding of the business objectives and driving the outcome for the program
- Capabilities to identify and deliver on process changes that would enable faster time to market while driving organization consistency and efficiency.
- Experience in managing projects throughout the entire SDLC, including investigation, design, execution and delivering products to market on schedule, and addressing customer feedback in development.
- Drive content, schedule and overall delivery of the program and set it up for success in the field and customer base for overall Go-To-Market readiness
- Make trade-offs and timely decisions, drive accountability for delivery and ensure that the objectives of the program are met
- Solid project and technical judgment; ability to influence multiple business units.
- Strong team and customer focus.
- Take ownership of the product experience, quality, and metrics
- Set goals for the program, track and periodically communicate to stakeholders as well as
- Ensure corrective actions/mitigations as needed
- Be the single point person for delivery decisions, exec and cross team communication and working with various functional groups to deliver the program
- Optimize team processes to improve quality, productivity, and responsiveness to feedback and changing priorities along with settin up the program for success in the field
- Overcome obstacles by resolving issues, regardless of team boundaries, and identify
- and resolve teamwork issues.
- Solid knowledge of end-to-end best practices
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical, cross-functional groups.
- Advanced understanding and extensive use of Jira Cloud in program management
