A Day in the Life

In this role, you will own the packaging processes that support the safe handling of life-saving medical devices. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our packaging meets performance, regulatory, and aesthetic standards while aligning with Medtronic’s mission to improve patient outcomes. 

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

  • Own the packaging processes for Disposable and Capital systems. 

  • Oversee and maintain packaging processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. 

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve packaging quality, efficiency, and product safety.  

  • Investigate Non-Conformance Material Reports related to packaging issues, determining root causes and corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., manufacturing, quality, engineering) to resolve NCMRs promptly and prevent recurrence. 

  • Manage packaging documentation and support adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). 

Must Have: Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree AND a minimum of 2 years relevant experience OR 

  • Master’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience 

 

Nice to Have: Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries. 

  • Knowledge of ISO, ASTM, and FDA regulations related to packaging validation and compliance. 

  • Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and eco-friendly packaging solutions. 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across diverse teams.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$80,000.00 - $120,000.00
