Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences - Psychiatry Research (Instructor)

Summary

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor who will work as a clinical director to support the programming related to the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program apart of the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium initiative. This will include clinical supervision, direct service, oversight of data management, and stakeholder liaison.

Job Duties

• Provides clinical supervision to behavioral health specialists, social workers, and case managers on TCHATT therapy team. Ensures resources and information is distributed across therapy team. 
• Partners with TCHATT Business Operational Lead to address clinical concerns, and referral issues with collaborating independent school districts.
• Ensures proper timely clinician documentation is obtained across all platforms, specifically Trayt (i.e., session documentation, archrivals, completion of symptom and functioning measures).
• Collaborates with TCMHCC Medical Director on clinical processes and clinical team needs.
• Partners with TCHATT Business Operational Lead for independent school district presentations, and other marketing endeavors for TCHATT.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Supervisor (LCSW-S) Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor (LPCS), Ph.D. in Psychology or Social Work.
• Experience: 5-7 years of experience preferred.

 

Certification/Licenses/Registration: Licensure Professional Counselor by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.
