Who We Are
We are seeking an experienced NATO Sea Sparrow Missile Technician to join our team at HII Mission Technologies. In this role, you will support the NATO Sea Sparrow Training Program and the program stakeholders by assisting with planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of manpower, personnel, and training (MP&T) technical products and services directed toward maintaining and improving fleet readiness.
What You Will Do
- Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel.
- Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
- Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
- Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments.
- May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.
- May be responsible for development of e-learning programs.
What You Must Have
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
- Candidate must have experience with NATO Sea Sparrow Missile Systems.
- Candidate must be skilled in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Project, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Candidate must have basic understanding of Navy Training Systems, Policies, and Procedures.
- Candidate must have willingness to learn quickly and perform in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
- Candidate must have the ability to respond quickly to evolving customer requirements and produce positive results.
- Candidate must have the ability to obtain a valid U.S Government Secret clearance.
Bonus Points For Having!
- Experience with developing and/or delivering training for the US Navy
- Experience and understanding of NTSP, MER, JDTA, and/or PADDIE-M
- Experience with Authoring Instructional Material (AIM) and/or AIM Learning Object Module (LOM)
- Navy NEC 9502 and/or Master Training Specialist certified
- Current active US Secret clearance or higher.
