Senior DevOps Engineer with GCP

Right now, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP) to join our team!

 

You will get the chance to:

• Act hands-on in ongoing CNI projects, resolving technical doubts in Google Cloud.
• Assist the cross-functional team in writing Terraform scripts and other necessary scripts for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Lead discussions on application development and infrastructure in Google Cloud.
• Specify technical documentation as needed for projects.
• Serve as a deployment accelerator, guiding the client in making optimal technical decisions aligned with GCP best practices.
• Collaborate with the Google Cloud team on infrastructure and development consumption estimates.
• Ensure the creation of scalable, secure, and resilient architectures for all solutions.
• Integrate deeply with technical teams to remove blockers and align with Google Cloud engineering teams.
• Attend necessary technical and work meetings.
• Collaborate with the GCP Lead Engineer to lead technical discussions on infrastructure and application development for product discovery.

Tehnical required skills:

• Google Cloud Platform Mastery:
  • Deep knowledge of core services (Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, etc.)
  • Familiarity with management and development tools (Cloud SDK, Console, Terraform, etc.)
  • Understanding of networking, security, and identity/access management (IAM) concepts within Google Cloud.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of open source technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python or Go for automation.
• Solution Architecture:
  • Ability to design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure architectures on Google Cloud.
  • Capability to translate business requirements into optimized cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of architectural patterns (microservices, serverless).
• Automation and DevOps:
  • Experience with automation tools (Deployment Manager, Cloud Build).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices for continuous delivery and CI/CD integration.
• Security:
  • Deep understanding of cloud security concepts and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud security services (Cloud Armor, Cloud Security Scanner).
  • Ability to implement security policies and access controls.
• Monitoring and Management:
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging) for performance analysis.
  • Experience in configuring alerts and dashboards for application health.
