This position is a onsite opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) is looking for Associate Director of Project Leadership, based in Alameda, CA. The position holder responsible to driving cross-functional New Product Introduction Programs, and capabilities from initial concept to market launch that drive the Consumer strategic objectives.

You will set Product Portfolio strategy, evaluate ideas, prioritize features, define releases with R&D, manage product roadmap, timelines, budget, coordinate and drive ADC worldwide R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Quality and Commercial activities associated with these projects.

This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.

What You'll Do

• Develops strategy, prioritization, and plans for improving consumer experiences in hardware, mobile / web products and services
• Formulates, harmonizes and consolidates project scopes, plans, strategies, and budgets for one or more projects, working closely with functional Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts from R&D, Commercial, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, and other functions
• Confirms the ongoing strategic rationale and value proposition for projects
• Leads project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting of projects
• Ensures Division-wide thinking and problem-solving are incorporated into project execution
• Drives for resolution in cross-functional problem solving, communication, and integration
• Liaises with other Project Owners, functional managers, and management to prioritize activities across programs to balance resource availability, program deliverables, schedule, and business needs
