Senior Day Program Intern (Bachelor's Level)

Bright Harbor Healthcare is excited to offer an internship opportunity for Bachelor's level students interested in gaining valuable experience in the field of mental health and social services. The Senior Day Program is designed to provide a supportive environment where older adults can engage in activities that promote socialization, well-being, and independence.

Position Title: Senior Day Program Intern (Bachelor's Level)
Position Type: Internship
Position Hours: Must be available for at least two of three program days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday); Availability one additional day for program planning
Location: Bayville, NJ
Department: Senior Day Program

Responsibilities:

• Assist program staff in planning and executing daily activities for program participants
• Assist program staff with lunch preparation and organization

• Provide support and companionship to elderly participants
• Support staff in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in social work, psychology, or related field
• Must be able to commit to a flexible schedule
• Interest in working with older adults
