Joining our relatively new and strategically important department, Global Consumer Services (GCS), you will join a motivated, skilled and diverse team focusing on building, shaping and integrating our new global consumer service approach in the VELUX Group with the purpose of bringing us even closer to our customers.</p><p></p><p>For our development team in GCS , we are looking for a Senior Digital Product Owner to head the development of a new global platform that should cater for all interactions between our VELUX Design/Installation Advisors and <span>Homeowners/Installers</span> – the primary purpose being to bring down time spent on manual tasks by integrating systems and creating better experiences during the work process.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Your challenges</b></p><p></p><p>As our Senior Digital Product Owner, you will join the Digital Development Team in GCS where you will ensure that our digital products and services offer optimal value to our customers. You will identify user needs, collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide digital product development. You will handle both business and customer needs with a keen comprehension of technological aspects and user experience. You will be responsible for the digital product backlog, roadmap and oversee and steer the entire lifecycle across markets.<br/><br/>Specific tasks you will be doing:</p><ul><li><p>Steer the digital product development process to fulfill both business goals and consumer expectations</p></li><li><p>Understand the different personas (Homeowner, Installers, Design Advisors) and scope  unique digital user experiences together with relevant Global Consumer departments and markets</p></li><li><p>Propel the product discovery with a mix of quantitative and qualitative research techniques</p></li><li><p>Monitor and assess the market needs to make sure we are continuously developing desirable digital products</p></li><li><p>Analyze and act on key product analytic data to be able to optimize the experience</p></li><li><p>Create, prioritize and align development roadmap with relevant stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Work in close collaboration with Service Designers/UX/UI to detail scope</p></li><li><p>Write epics, user stories and tests cases for new development and product backlog items</p></li><li><p>Ensure overall progress, high development velocity and facilitate daily stand-up with the development team</p></li><li><p>Foresee and mitigate risks in the development process</p></li><li><p>Support junior PO’s with your extensive experience in digital product development</p></li><li><p>Work closely with IT – e.g. backend, frontend, architects, QA</p></li></ul><p></p><p>You will be located at our head office in Hørsholm and report directly to Director GCS Digital Development.<br/> </p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Your qualifications</b></p><p></p><p>You possess a great desire to create and deliver high quality, customer-centric digital products, and you have a comprehensive technical understanding related to digital products – maybe from having worked closely with backend and frontend developers in an agency or having a developer background yourself. You have a clear understanding of what needs to be in place before, during and after developing a digital product, and you tend to take a structured approach to your work, respecting deadlines and timely deliverables.</p><p></p><p>With your agile mindset and adaptable approach, you feel confident in a high pace environment navigating many moving pieces at a time and sometimes dealing with unknowns.
