Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Manager to lead the QC Biochemistry team of 9 dedicated scientists, a Team Lead, and 12 Laboratory Technicians. You will report directly to the QC Director and take on a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction for the team. This position is based in Kvistgaard, Denmark, and offers an exceptional opportunity to influence and develop future processes within a progressive QC department.</p><p></p><p>The team is responsible for analytical equipment qualification within its area, reviewing and approving analytical results, troubleshooting and validating analytical methods, for early and late-stage commercial vaccines, and performing release testing of drug substances and drug products.</p><p></p><p><b>Your Impact</b></p><p></p><p>Collaboration is key to the role, as you will work closely with production teams and provide support to the Manufacturing and Process Development departments. Your key tasks and responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Be the overall leader of the Biochemistry Team and offer daily leadership and scientific guidance to your team and cross-functional partners</li><li>Together with QC’s other teams ensure adherence to KPIs</li><li>Ensure all activities adhere to cGMP standards and lead or participate in process optimization initiatives</li><li>Oversee method validations, analytical troubleshooting, and equipment qualifications</li><li>Coordinate and implement practices to meet stakeholder demands</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Are you our Next Pioneer? </b></p><p></p><p>To succeed in this role, you will need:</p><ul><li>Master’s or Ph.D. in Life Sciences or a related field</li><li>Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in quality control. Analytical development experience is an advantage</li><li>In-depth understanding of analytical methods and flows in a GMP environment</li><li>Proven experience as a people manager with a strong track record of leading teams to success</li></ul><p></p><p><b>About you  </b></p><p>You are a proactive and pragmatic leader who embraces change and thrives in fast-paced environments.
