Brown & Brown is seeking an Account Coordinator to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA.
The Account Coordinator supports the Commercial team by handling administrative tasks while gaining exposure to the insurance industry. Key responsibilities include answering phones, data entry, invoicing, processing endorsements, issuing certificates of insurance, and assisting with renewal preparation and file maintenance. This role helps create reports, sends renewal questionnaires, and ensures compliance with corporate policies and government regulations. The Account Coordinator fosters strong internal relationships, maintains strict confidentiality, and participates in ongoing training to build industry knowledge and skills.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Assist the Commercial team with administrative tasks while learning the Insurance Industry
Answer phones, route calls, and take/deliver messages
Perform data entry, invoicing, policy checks, endorsements, renewal preparation and file maintenance
Issue certificates of insurance
Create reports and assist with sending out renewal questionnaires
Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Brown & Brown
Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures
Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills
Always conduct the highest level of confidentiality
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
1+ years office administration experience, required
Property & Casualty license, or to obtain it within 90 days of starting
Proficiency in Microsoft 365
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Pay Range
$40,000 - $50,000 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
