Lead SME Network Architect Senior Manager

You Are:
The Lead SME Network Architect Senior Manager will design and deliver the technology architecture for a platform, product, or engagement, from development to operations. They will shape technology architecture during the sales and solutioning process, as required and will have experience as an Enterprise Architect specializing in network infrastructure services.
The Work
- Engage with business, programs, applications to deliver an optimal, efficient operating platform
- Build and or refine a fabric on which all other IT systems and services are built
- Build and support the migration of existing systems to cloud based providers
- Build, upgrade, and deliver a Network framework for communication systems
- Provide development/developing platforms support of systems related to database administration, security, data storage/server, network, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies
- Build, develop, and implement communication networks for platforms within or between organizations
- Modernize, evolve, and continuously improve the network to keep up with emerging technologies
Here's What You Need:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as an Enterprise Architect specializing in network infrastructure services
- 4 years of experience in cloud technologies such as but not limited to Azure and AWS. Google Cloud Platform (GCP) desired
- 5 years of experience designing critical network infrastructure for a large / complex network
- Experience with infrastructure and network automation platforms and coding
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions that increase the availability and security of the enterprise
- Experience in developing technology roadmaps
- Expert level understanding of network technologies (SDN, SDWAN, routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, application load balancing, network visibility.)
- Expert level understanding of network practices, and protocols
- Extensive experience with on premise physical infrastructure and Virtualization technologies
- Expert knowledge of route optimization, dynamic routing, packet aggregation, IPV6, and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
- Extensive experience with networking and security methods and tools
- Experience performing network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems at a SME level
- Expertise with major networking products from companies similar to Cisco, Juniper and VMWare delivered via major cloud providers
- Experience with managing and using DevOps concepts
- Bachelor's Degree Current Relevant Certification: CCIE with continuous certification updates throughout the performance period as credentials are retired.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
