About Us
Sound Bites is the Premium Seating Structure’s kitchen at Hayden Homes Amphitheater, supporting full-service dining for our Cabanas and Deschutes Deck guests. Job Overview
As a Sound Bites Line Cook, you’ll work in the VIP Kitchen preparing food for Premium Seating sections throughout each event. This is a hands-on line cook role focused on execution, including working the griddle, fryers, salad and cold stations, prep, breakdown, and dish support as needed. Cooks are expected to champion their station and operate with a learner’s mindset.
Menus rotate throughout the season and require adaptability, attention to detail, and strong fundamentals. While the majority of service supports Premium Seating dining, this role may occasionally include large-format platter preparation, pre-orders, or special cooking events. Success in this role comes from anticipating needs, staying organized, working cleanly, and maintaining speed and consistency as volume rises and falls during live events.
Attitude matters just as much as skill in this kitchen. Sound Bites Line Cooks are expected to work hard, stay flexible, and support the team through every phase of service. We value cooks who bring focus, professionalism, and a good sense of humor to the line.
