Weston is seeking a Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineer to provide support for a variety of civil and environmental engineering projects including, but not limited to, groundwater extraction and treatment system design, construction and operations support, groundwater and soil remediation investigation and design, and wastewater treatment design and construction. Location: Lincolnshire, IL Expected Outcome:
- Support of multidisciplinary design teams in preparation of drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Perform various engineering-related calculations and analysis of information in the application of the basic design criteria necessary to complete assigned projects and tasks.
- Provide field support for environmental projects including environmental sampling field work, construction related engineering inspections, site and bid walks, data management/tabulation and analysis, and reporting.
- 25% travel to various field investigation sites.
- Hybrid work environment
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Ability to carry out multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proven ability in technical report writing.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Self-starter, detailed oriented, and finisher.
- Proficient in using typical business software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Adobe, etc.)
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 25% to various sites.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred, but not required.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, preferred.
