Vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccine requirements are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical, religious, or fully remote exemption.  Requests for exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved exemption is required to start work.

Job Description

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Outpatient Lymphoma Clinical Trials team. In this role, you will join a team of clinical and research experts to manage a portfolio of sophisticated clinical trials and ensure patients receive quality clinical care aligned with protocol standards. As part of the T-cell clinical trials team, you will care for a panel of patients receiving investigational treatment for their lymphoma at every stage of their treatment journey - ensuring eligibility, overseeing treatment, monitoring and managing toxicities, and assessing disease response.

 

Hours: 4, 10 hour shifts/week (8:00a-6:00p)

Potential coverage at regional (Brooklyn) 1-2X a month

You Will:

• Collaborate with designated physicians and research team members (consisting of the principal investigators, Clinical Research Coordinators, Data Managers and Nursing Staff) to develop and conduct clinical trials
• Participate in the institutional review process, including the in writing/reviewing protocols
• Screen patients for protocols, determining patient’s eligibility, participate in the informed consent process and provide education for patients considering enrollment or enrolled on a clinical trial
• Clinical responsibilities include monitoring toxicities, assessing clinical responses and providing exemplary patient care while ensuring the protocol is conducted in a high quality manner in in-patient and out-patient settings
