About the role
“Remo Medical Group, P.A., the affiliated medical practice of Remo Health ("Remo"), is hiring a full-time Remote Registered Nurse.
About Remo
Remo is building the new standard of dementia care by fundamentally changing the care journey for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers (the dyad). As a virtual dementia care provider, our expert clinical team designs personalized, comprehensive care to serve people with dementia and caregiver needs, instead of a one-size-fits-all approach. We empower family caregivers by connecting them with a vibrant community of other caregivers, expert content, and tools to manage the entire dementia journey – from anywhere, at any time. Our mission is simple – to provide accessible, comprehensive, quality dementia care for every person who needs it.
About the Role
We strongly believe that an integral part of this mission is a meaningful and sustainable clinician experience. Working at Remo, you will have more time with patients and families, less administrative work, extensive support from a full interdisciplinary team, a custom electronic medical record designed around care and not billing, and protected time for inbox management. We believe that technology should facilitate and not replace the human connection.
Our Registered Nurse will report directly to the Medical Director, with support from the Lead RN, and play an integral role in our interdisciplinary care team. We are looking for a teammate who believes that the current standard of dementia care is unacceptable and is passionate about building better care models for patients living with dementia and their family caregivers. This is an exciting opportunity to help build and develop our 24/7 triage line, care workflows, processes, and SOPs.
What You’ll Be Doing
Providing compassionate and empathetic evaluation of patients with cognitive disorders and their caregivers, with the full support of an interdisciplinary clinical team.
Maintaining the 24/7 clinical triage line which will include virtual dyad assessment, intervention, alert management, care plan updates, treatment or therapy management.
Providing dyad education (lifestyle counseling, behavioral change modification, dementia specific assessment support, etc.).
Collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director, and Practice Manager to deliver on our KPIs — e.g. quality targets, utilization metrics, patient/provider satisfaction, etc.
Collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer to provide memory care training and oversight of new hires.
Facilitating patient care by assisting with care transitions, discharge planning, long-term nursing placement, hospice placement, and end-of-life care.
You May Be a Good Fit If You
Are registered and multi state licensed to participate in the nurse compact.
Have a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years in dementia, palliative or geriatric care.
Are able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
Have phone triage experience.
Are passionate about taking a holistic approach to the care of patients living with dementia and caregivers.
Are passionate about staying up to date on clinical best practices.
Are passionate about educating families and other clinical providers about best practices in dementia care.
Are able to think systematically, breaking down complicated problems into manageable initiatives.
Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenges with creativity and flexibility.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
You’re the Ideal Candidate If You
Are a Registered Nurse licensed in OH, CA, TX, FL, or NV and eligible to practice across multiple states through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
Have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
Have a genuine and sustained commitment to improving the lives of patients living with dementia and their caregivers, especially during moments of high stress or uncertainty.
Thrive in fast-evolving care models and are energized by the opportunity to shape a virtual-first approach to dementia care delivery.
Bring a builder’s mindset — you’re excited to contribute feedback that refines our clinical workflows, tech platform, and patient experience in real time.
Are deeply motivated by the belief that traditional dementia care too often falls short.
