Get to Know the Opportunity
As a member of Voya Investment Management’s Client Service and Relationship Management Team within the Distribution organization, the Client Account Manager will support and provide service to Institutional clients of Voya IM, spanning both public and private fixed income and equity investment strategies. The individual is responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with new and existing clients by executing on proactive and ongoing client engagement and servicing, in partnership with Voya IM’s Sales and Investments teams. The individual is expected to work both independently and collaboratively, within Voya IM and with external clients and their constituents, to provide regular communication and manage clients’ investment-related needs.

The Contributions You Will Make
1. Provide exceptional day-to-day client service and support to assigned Institutional clients within separately managed portfolios and commingled fund investments across public and private asset classes.
2. Partner with Voya IM’s Sales and Relationship Management teams to support client portfolio needs; demonstrate both ownership and understanding of the entire client relationship, anticipate servicing needs, address client requests, and ensure clear, complete, and timely information to the client.
3. Regularly interface with client contacts at all levels to respond to portfolio related inquiries, establish accounts, lead, and implement investment mandate changes, and resolve issues timely.
4. Liaison within the firm, partnering with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Investments, Finance, Product, Compliance, and Legal for new clients, facilitate investment mandate changes and to provide ongoing support for existing clients.
5. Lead and manage client communications and deliver on client needs, respond to requests for information and day-to-day questions in a timely and professional manner; seek resolutions as issues arise.
6. Ensure accuracy of client data, documentation, and internal systems to ensure proper allocation of accounts, compliance, calculation of fees, timely reporting, and delivery of firm disclosures.
7. Independently, and collaboratively with Sales and Investments teams, prepare presentation materials for client meetings. Attend and contribute to client meetings, via videoconference and in-person.
8. Apply investment knowledge and experience in servicing Institutional clients to effectively undertake and address account-related matters, identify opportunities to enhance and/or expand service provided to clients, consultants, and other constituents.
9. Champion initiatives that impact clients and the team, lead and implement enhancements.
10. Provide support to the broader Client Service team, including client recordkeeping system updates, process documentation, RFP responses, technology improvements, client meeting materials, projects etc.
11. Ensure continuous collaboration and full integration with Client Service team members in-office, and via frequent videoconference meetings and periodic travel.
Minimum Knowledge and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field with 10+ years of experience and working knowledge of the investment management business, including at least 10 years
