Job Description Summary
Reporting directly to the HR Leader for Electrification Software (ESW), the ESW Talent Leader is responsible in providing strategy, talent management, and leadership development for ESW.This role will partner closely with the senior leaders to design and execute the strategy to optimize the organization, its culture, and its people to drive business results and impact. The role has a matrix reporting line to the GE Vernova Chief Talent Officer.
In addition, this role will be leading HR for HR initiatives for ESW in close partnership with the HR and COE leaders. This role will also provide HRBP support for the senior enabling function leaders in ESW, as well as selected senior leaders in the Grid Software Business Unit.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead robust and focused Talent Review processes; Build ED pipeline both internal and external; Identify & know talent; priority focused on high enterprise leadership potential
- Identify and maintain deep understanding of the highest potential talent in the organization (strengths, capabilities, gaps, priorities), ensuring robust development plans are in plans to accelerate their readiness for future leadership roles and assignments
- Partner closely with the ESW HR Leader and business/functional leaders to identify strategic priority areas and ensure they are actively driven across the organization. Assume responsibility for implementing standard practices in talent, development, retention, and succession planning. Utilize data analytics to lead informed decision-making processes and enhance talent management strategies
- Become SME in talent management strategy & processes, EVDR philosophy, leverage & promote Talent COE standard work to lead execution of Talent processes.
- Serve as a partner with COEs (Talent and Culture & Inclusion) in design and development of new talent practices, processes & technology
- Engage as conduit between Talent and HR4HR COE and Segment’s HR team…sharing processes to the Segments and sharing feedback needs with COE
- Responsible for monitoring the progression of Segment’s Talent KPIs & metrics and, where applicable, accountable for employee engagement to meet completion targets
- Provide input and insight for next gen and executive talent hiring needs…main POC to Talent Acquisition
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to lead the development and delivery of strategies including Precision and Empowered
- Leads organization culture & inclusion initiatives, including embedding the GE Vernova Way across the organization
- Support transformation initiatives across ESW in close partnership with FP&A and WFP&A
- For selected functional leaders, define HR strategy, workforce plans aligned to business strategy, org design recommendations, provide coaching and feedback
- Lead HR4HR initiatives and support HR transformation in close partnership with HRBPs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge or experience
- Significant (equivalent to 8+ years) experience in human resources and talent management
- Experience operating with C-Level/Sr Executives to influence and drive change
- Demonstrated track record of successfully leading large, complex HR and Talent initiatives that require significant change management and communication

Additional Information
The base pay range for this position is 159,200.00 - 199,000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 20% Variable Incentive Bonus. This posting is expected to close on September 19, 2025.
