<p>We’re looking for an enthusiastic Senior Global T&E Specialist to join our Finance team to support Snyk’s rapid growth. This individual should be highly motivated to learn and grow within the organization and show a proven track record to thrive in a fast-paced environment.</p>
<p>This position is responsible for performing accounts payable and travel and expenses tasks. This position will participate in the optimization of the newly implemented procure-to-pay system, reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.</p>
<p><strong>You’ll spend your time:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Managing the day-to-day travel and expense reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.</li>
<li>Responding to inquiries from both internal and external parties, including providing guidance on expense reimbursement-related topics.</li>
<li>Conducting daily reviews and audits of expense reports to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.</li>
<li>Verifying supporting documents and amounts claimed on expense reports for legitimacy.</li>
<li>Overseeing the onboarding and offboarding processes for travel and expense procedures, including training new employees and maintaining training documentation.</li>
<li>Ensuring timely payments to employees.</li>
<li>Working closely with the AP Manager to meet timelines for monthly and quarterly close.</li>
<li>Maintaining policy setup in Egencia, managing changes to the Air Travel Class Policy, and ensuring accurate travel expense report processing worldwide.</li>
<li>Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of travel and expense transactions and related documentation.</li>
<li>Ensuring proper filing and organization of financial documents and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities and auditors' requests.</li>
<li>Identifying opportunities for streamlining and improving travel and expense management processes, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and controls.</li>
<li>Providing metrics and analytics on travel and expense spend to relevant stakeholders.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What You’ll Need:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>5+ years experience in global business travel operations.</li>
<li>A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in business or accounting.</li>
<li>Experience and understanding of travel booking standards/requirements/rules.</li>
<li>Possess the following characteristics:</li>
<ul>
<li>team player</li>
<li>solid interpersonal skills, both written and oral</li>
<li>ability to adapt quickly to changes in a dynamic environment in terms of both organizational structure and process</li>
<li>capable of meeting tight deadlines</li>
<li>proactive and problem-solving attitude</li>
</ul>
<li>Fluent in English, both spoken and written.</li>
<li>Have experience working on cross-functional teams in terms of implementing new systems and creating related process documentation.</li>
<li>Effective communication, strong problem-solving skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.</li>
<li>A strong working knowledge of accounts payable systems, processes, and controls.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>We’d especially love to hear from you if you:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Have experience preparing and providing required support for T&E policies.</li>
<li>Have experience working in a SaaS company.</li>
<li>Have experience with Egencia, Mesh, Workday, Coupa, Netsuite and Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, etc).</li>
