Are you an existing Butchery Manager or have 2IC experience ready to take on the challenge of the next step in your career? 

 

The position, reporting to the Fresh Foods operations manager is accountable for:

 

• Producing an extensive and consistent range of high-quality cuts
• Maintaining the highest standard of merchandising and customer service
• Efficient and effective use and planning of all Butchery resources leading to the achievement of the department's Key Performance Indicators
• Ongoing development and training of staff and building a positive team culture
• Excellent Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards 

 

Key areas of competency for this position include:

 

• Being an excellent communicator with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• An ability to lead by example through a positive and engaging work manner
• A passion and ability to deliver quality customer service
• An ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

 

This is a full-time position, involving one weekend day a week which will be discussed at the time of the interview.
