Job Description

The Manager Finance Operations is a key financial role and business partner with Global Operations, Refining Technologies, and Corporate Financial Leadership.  This position assists in leading process improvement and standardization as well as troubleshooting and problem solving across the manufacturing network.  This role will be required to present findings, recommendations, solutions and implementation plans to all levels of Operations, Business and Financial Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all operations finance reporting and consolidation; Coordinate with plant controllers on daily/weekly basis.
• Facilitates the resolution of financial issues across the network as they arise including costing, forecasting and reporting.  This may include data gathering, analysis and solution determination.
• Coordinate the productivity tracking and reconciliation process from a Finance perspective.  Determine and implement process improvements and standardization for productivity reporting.
• Assume a leadership role in changing our standard costing, align new methodology with the MRP process and explore moving to a capacity-based format.
• Assist in leading efforts to standardize processes for forecasting and budgeting across manufacturing sites.
• Learn the commercial/operations connections and impacts across the business and assist in problem solving and value add activities.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to interface and partner with all levels of operations and financial personnel in order to achieve desired outcomes.
• Demonstrated Leader of processes without direct line supervisory hierarchy.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills - as well as excellent business acumen
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite capabilities (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• BS in Finance/Accounting or related field
• 5+ years relevant experience in large multinational manufacturing corporation - progressing in finance/accounting and working in a matrixed environment
• 2+ years of experience of manufacturing accounting in an SAP environment

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CPA
• SAP experience
