Overview:

We are looking for a designer to join our small, collaborative proposal team to lead graphic development and desktop publishing. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about technical (IT) solutions and is passionate about visual layout and creating high quality materials. The ideal Proposal Graphics Lead is able to understand complex, technical problems and collaborate on effective illustrations of the solution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain library for proposal visual and graphic artifacts. 
• Create and implement proposal graphic development process.
• Design graphics and visual elements in Illustrator or PowerPoint for proposal documents, slide decks and marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical subject matter experts to develop accurate, compelling, and high-quality proposal visuals including concepts of operation (ConOps).
• Attend and engage in conceptual meetings and solutioning sessions as well as content reviews.
• Leverage human centered design principles and apply Section 508 guidelines while conforming to proposal instructions for format and delivery.
• Support desktop publishing for final proposal files.
• Create high-quality and engaging visual content tailored to each opportunity, while ensuring Excella brand consistency. 
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas and concepts from start to finish.
• Conduct competitor and trends research to produce engaging visuals that set Excella apart from our competition. 
• Assist with creating visual elements for marketing materials such as blogs, videos, white papers, ebooks and sell slicks, as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in graphic design, communications, or related field.
• Demonstrated success applying proposal best practices across various industries for products and/or services based firms.
• Strong analytical aptitude and ability to structure complex or undefined technica
