Purpose of Position:

To receive and process specimens accurately.

Requirements:

Grade 12 (Required), HPCSA registration as Laboratory Assistant (Required)

Required Experience:

Experience in a medical environment, Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge of compiling management reports to follow up outstanding results and specimens, Knowledge of the operation regarding the Immunology specimen storage system

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Perform administration tasks in order to ensure effective administration systems in the laboratory, Process routine bench work in the laboratory in order to ensure efficient processing of specimens
