Description
The Senior Program Manager, Office of the President will work under the direction of the Vice President, Chief of Staff to provide strategic, project management, and operational oversight for Office of the President activities. The Senior Program Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing high-impact, cross-cutting processes and initiatives that support the mission and vision of Children’s National, including working closely with senior executives across Children’s National. The candidate will develop briefings and presentations, draft communications materials and products, and provide direct staffing support to the President and CEO and the Chief of Staff. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and engage with key stakeholders with poise and professionalism. Daily and Weekly interface with the President and CEO, Chief of Staff, as well as Senior Leadership (Executive Vice Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents). Scope of work can entail local, national or international focus.
This role will also include supporting some night and weekend events, as needed.
Full-Time Salary Range: $101,275.20 – $168,792.00
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Master's Degree (Required) OR Relevant experience beyond the minimum required work experience

Minimum Work Experience:
5 years' Experience in healthcare with a focus on developing programs, improving processes, and leading projects (required)
Examples of tasks and responsibilities may include:
- Providing project management support to the President and CEO and Chief of Staff.
- Drafting briefings and presentations for the Office of the President and CEO.
- Drafting communications materials, such as remarks, talking points, and all-staff messages.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Providing staffing support to the President and CEO for internal and external events, including preparation, attendance, and follow up.
- Coordinating the flow of documents and information to and from the Office of the President and CEO, including managing deadlines, templates, and structure.
- Supporting the overall operations of the Office of the President and CEO.
Functional Accountabilities
Strategic Planning
• Contribute to the strategic plan for department services, including short-term and long-term objectives.
• Collect and analyze customer and stakeholder feedback and evaluate department effectiveness.
• Incorporate findings into plans to modify program and external communication.
• Gain exposure to operational information that is confidential within the Department and maintain those confidences.
• Work with the Vice President and other involved staff to develop a way to capture and report the key operating statistics and financial performance of the Department.
Program Administration
• Develop, implement and evaluate programs, services, policies and procedures, and performance standards to achieve departmental goals. Administer programs within budgetary guidelines.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and develop action plans to resolve.
• Ensure compliance with CNMC policies and procedures and with regulatory standards.
• Liaise with senior leaders across CNMC departments to strategize and launch new initiatives.
