Roadside Assistance - Fleet Safety & Maintenance Leader
Scope of work / Problem Statement to TaskUs:
TaskUs has launched its first in-field fleet support framework in support of Autonomous Ride Hail clients with a highly specialized focus on roadside assistance to rescue Autonomous Vehicles in the event remote assistance is unable to resolve the issue.
As a result TaskUs is establishing a Fleet management policy framework, which includes the establishment and maintenance of a series of fleet & logistics policies. From company-level policies and standards manuals to task-level standard operating procedures, the fleet management & logistics support function is the means by which standardizes the business of managing the fleet’s health lifecycle, as well as managing physical safety readiness of the fleet. This position reports to the PMO organization and will have the overall responsibility of managing the TaskUs fleet across multiple markets. As the company’s internal point of contact, this position will interact with various internal, external, and client organizations and individuals to help support the markets TaskUs operate in by overseeing the lifecycle of the fleet in service within each market.
Position Description: Leader of Fleet & Logistics
Position Overview:
We are looking for an individual to oversee the TaskUs Fleet & logistics responsibilities in our markets. The role will focus on maintenance coordination, oversee the health of the fleet across its lifecycle, and ensure that our fleet is safe to operate and compliant with all applicable fleet maintenance regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible to use a best practices approach to develop and deliver quality service in a safe, timely and a cost-effective manner. The role will coordinate daily fleet health checks, be involved in ensuring the efficient delivery of maintenance and repairs to our fleet. As well as, provide advice regarding repairs, modifications and maintenance issues, while being accountable for establishing and achieving set goals.
Responsibilities:
Work in conjunction with the Ops Manager of Roadside Assistance to contact drivers directly to provide information and respond to regular equipment repair and maintenance requirements - support road-call needs of the fleet
Assist with data entry requirements for service-related reporting management
Assist with the management of equipment defects and compliance matters
Responsible for communication with drivers and service partners for equipment triage and support
Respond to various inquiries and requests via phone and email daily, communicating with internal employees and external business or service partners
