ICS Network Tech Lead

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

 

Role purpose:

 

Network Architect in IT Solution Architecture team provides support in IT Infrastructure initiatives with project support, strategy development and 3rd party management. The individual in this role exhibits a strong passion for building and improving secure networks, with a focus on project delivery. Additionally, he/she acts as a Subject Matter Expert in various Network Technologies

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Lead in developing and maintaining Network related ICS infrastructure strategy and associated ICS Technology roadmap
• Design and document ICS network architecture and related technical procedures
• Leads and participates in various Network/infrastructure projects and initiatives including designing, implementation, documentation and handover to operations team
• Assessing new technologies and best practices for adoption
• Acts as the subject matter expert for Network technology solutions within ICS environment
• Familiar with security technologies such as firewall, IDS, endpoint security solutions, access control systems, and other related security technologies within ICS environment.
• Engaging with internal and external customers for briefings, issue escalation, and complex solution development
• Evaluate vendor solutions to ensure they meet technology standards, as well as all applicable architecture considerations
• Documenting network capabilities as appropriate for both internal and external consumption
• Mentor other members of the Network Architecture team on architectural and engineering best practices by reviewing engineering designs and providing guidance as required

 

Requirements:

 

• 8+ year experience in Network Infrastructure field in a multinational environment
• Certificates within network/security domain (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, etc.) desirable
• Experience with next generation firewall technology (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, etc.) is required
• Understanding of IT and OT network communication protocols
• Strong knowledge of Cisco environment (ISR, Catalyst, ASA)
• CCNP RS or equivalent knowledge is required
• Network related technical knowledge and experience in Zero Trust and SASE concepts
• Strong understanding of Network Technology fundamentals
• Experience with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
• Other Technical Certificates related to field
• Fluency in English
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner
• Ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities
• Team and business leadership experience
