WHAT IS THE POSITION

The Business Operations Specialist (Temporary) reports to the Senior Manager, Business Operations and works cross-functionally to support the Edmentum Product Team in operationalizing its 3rd party service provider relationships. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

They should possess excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. Proficiency in contract management and financial tracking is essential, as is the capacity to conduct thorough research and ensure accurate documentation. A successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, an aptitude for navigating cross-functional processes, and a commitment to operational excellence.

This is a remote temporary employee position that can be based anywhere within the United States.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Write templatized contracts, obtain approvals, and coordinate signatures. Maintain contract records.
  • Onboard and serve as the key administrative point of contact for Product’s contractors.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with Product leaders, Finance, Helpdesk, and HR for the administration of non-employee contractors onboarding and offboarding (start dates, end dates, pay change, etc.)
  • Process invoice approvals and track financials– serving as a point person for processing invoices with Accounts Payable and maintaining financial records.
  • Coordinate digital rights and licenses with internal teams and 3rd party vendors through research, communication, tracking, and documentation
  • Maintain Smartsheet reporting tools
  • Develop process to collect, quantify, and communicate product feedback from internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with product leadership to understand how external resourcing links to company success.
  • Advocate for best practices in processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Utilize effective tools and advocate for the automation of data and reporting to create efficiency.
  • Identify, assess, prioritize, and escalate risks.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

WHAT IS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience in Product Operations, Business Operations, Customer Success, or similar
  • Self-starter with a careful attention to detail
  • Strong creative and critical thinking skills
  • Experience leading the delivery of product initiatives from kick-off to post-launch analysis
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Exceptional documentation skills
  • Track record of proactively managing end-to-end execution of projects and programs
  • Quick learner with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Technical experience in tools used for data, analysis, and reporting
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and team-building skills
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

  • Experience working on projects in multi-faceted and fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of standard software (Word, Excel, etc.) and ability to learn new applications
  • Knowledge of cloud project management and documentation software (Smartsheet, Confluence)
  • Maintain working knowledge of industry, market, and competitive landscape

Pay range for this role: $25$30 USD
