Job Description

As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrols in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a hotel or resort location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for guests and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or property loss.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with hotel or resort staff to address guest concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
