Job Description
As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrols in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a hotel or resort location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for guests and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or property loss.
- Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
- Collaborate with hotel or resort staff to address guest concerns and provide assistance as needed.
- Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
