As a key member of the Direct24 team, the Supervisor Role will be responsible for successful completion of comprehensive, accurate, cost-effective travel managements for Direct Travel clients within company policies utilizing corporate contracts and preferred suppliers in an efficient and professional manner.
This role will work closely with Team Leads, Sr. Advisors and report to the Operations Manager.
Expedition Expectations
- Assists Travel Advisors on a real time basis with questions related to client-specific policies, standards in building Passenger Name Records, and questions related to the use of various technical tools
- Supports more than one account outside of normal business hours
- Interacts with vendors as a liaison in promoting and executing efficient workflow process for frontline advisors
- As back up in creating domestic and international travel arrangements for clients to include air, hotel, and ground transportation
- Ensures compliance of a client’s travel policy while utilizing agency preferred vendors to maximize profit
- Adheres to Direct24 standards in delivering customer experience, including telephone and email etiquette, and follows prescribed customer service escalation procedures
- Follows company standards regarding procedures, utilization of tools, productivity, accuracy of work, and attendance
- Attends staff and training meetings for ongoing updates in the travel industry
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other internal associates to foster and promote a cooperative working environment
- Promote and monitor empathy and compassion in supporting a positive customer experience
- Performs other duties as assigned
Passport to Success
- Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate travel or CID environment
- Ability to change/create domestic & international multi-segment, multi-destination itineraries
- Demonstrate industry knowledge and keep up to date on news and resources
- Proficiency in Sabre and Apollo GDS systems
- Displays positive work ethic to help maintain/promote positive team morale
- Must be able to lawfully work within the U.S. and have unrestricted work authorization for the U.S.
- Working non-business hours, weekends, and holidays will be required but includes shift differential compensation
Going the Extra Mile
- Basic knowledge of MS Office platform
- Experience in supporting after hours environment
- Leadership and direct report experience
