Job Title: Wedding Sales Manager
Department: Conference Services, Sales, and Operations
Reports To: Director of Conference Services, Sales, and Operations

Position Summary

The Wedding Sales Manager is responsible for selling and coordinating all aspects of weddings at Snowbird, including lodging, dining, and catered events. This role involves managing the sales process from initial inquiry through to execution, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for clients and their guests. The manager will conduct personalized site visits to showcase Snowbird’s venues and services, helping clients visualize and plan their ideal wedding.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to wedding inquiries and conduct on-site tours for prospective clients.
• Assist in marketing efforts for weddings, including participation in bridal expos and local events.
• Understand client goals and vision for their wedding to personalize their experience and recommend upsell opportunities across the resort.
• Schedule and attend multiple planning appointments per wedding.
• Offer expert advice to ensure each event runs smoothly for guests and aligns with Snowbird's standards.
• Conduct professional site visits to guide potential clients through available spaces and service offerings.
• Coordinate all event logistics through Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Restaurant Event Orders (REOs). (As needed)
• Oversee day-of wedding execution and serve as the on-site contact for assigned events. (As needed)
• Lead wedding tastings and detailed planning sessions with clients. (As needed)

Collaborative Relationships

• Maintain direct and consistent communication with clients, vendors, and internal departments.
• Collaborate closely with the banquet, culinary, lodging, and operations teams.
• Foster a professional and service-oriented relationship with all departments and employees.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in wedding or event sales and coordination.
• Experience in a resort, hotel, or high-end event venue is strongly preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Experience with Amadeus Delphi and SMS Host is a plus.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively convey client requests and timelines to operational teams.

Working Conditions

Schedule

• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event demands.
• Occasional overnight stays may be required during weather-related closures or high-demand periods.

Mental & Physical Demands

• Must manage multiple events and priorities under high-pressure situations.
• Requires regular walking and movement throughout the resort property.
• Must be able to work in winter conditions and navigate the mountain environment safely.
