We are recruiting for a Yield Enhancement and Control Systems Engineering Manager to be a part of Qorvo’s Texas Wafer Fab team. The candidate will provide technical leadership to the engineering team with a strong focus on yield improvement and continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversight of factory yield performance and manage diverse team of engineers toward maximizing factory performance.
- Provide technical leadership to the engineering team to quickly troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across broad array of fab technologies.
- Oversee factory visual inspection processes, procedures, roadmaps and execution.
- Support improvement of new technology robustness for high volume production.
- Driving a Lean culture of continuous improvement and waste elimination.
- Effectively interface with internal and external customers to ensure quality, technical, and supply needs are achieved.
- Oversee factory data science team to continue advancement in capability for factory automation, yield analytics, process control, and excursion prevention.
- Position may require travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong background and understanding in wafer fab process engineering and integration.
- Capability to understand all components of yield and associated potential causes.
- Strong data analytical skills and understanding of SPC, APC, FDC.
- Leadership experience managing diverse team toward complex goals.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers.
- Understanding of Lean Principles and ability to model, teach, and facilitate organizational culture change.
- Good understanding of Quality management systems and experience with external audit requirements with respect to wafer fabrication.
- Excellent communication, meeting facilitation and presentation skills
- Good analytical and business skills
Required Education & Experience:
- BS in Engineering and minimum 5 years of leadership experience is preferred.
- MS or PhD in Enginee
