Job Description
The Global Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC-Global) team is engineering, developing and integrating new capability for the Missile Defense System that currently protects the United States and its allies. The team, as a whole, is very large but is broken down into many smaller agile teams that work together in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The C2BMC-Global team is responsible for tasks such as Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security and enhancing other critical, leading-edge missile defense technologies. The team is growing rapidly and we are looking for hardworking, dedicated people that will help us be successful.
This job requisition is for the C2BMC-Global program and is open in order to fill a Software Development Internship position.
The responsibilities for this position include:
- Developing applications (coding, programming)
- Debugging and testing code
- Documenting and testing new software applications
- Researching, investigating and fixing a wide range of technical issues
- Collaborating with senior leaders
- Approaching problems and creating solutions
- Proactively learning about new technologies
Basic Qualifications
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance by Start
-Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
- minimal Java coding experience
-pursuit BS degree in Comp Sci, Software Engineering or related discipline
Desired skills
Ideally, a candidate has:
- an active TS/SCI Clearance
- familiarity with the "SAFe Agile" process
- familiarity with Linux operating system
- strong verbal/written communications skills enabling them to work effectively in a team environment

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
