Job Description

Are you seeking an exciting opportunity to work at the cutting-edge of MEMS based inertial measurement units (IMUs) for consumer applications? At Bosch Sensortec, we push the boundaries of innovation for inertial sensors used across the globe.
As a PreMaster student, you will contribute to the development of high-performance IMUs and play an integral role in future products.

  • You are interested in understanding the function of MEMS inertial sensors
  • You have first experience in executing complex measurement experiments
  • You plan, coordinate and execute complex measurements in cooperation with our lab team and external partners
  • You evaluate measurement results, document the results and present them to the project team

Qualifications

  • Personality: We are looking for a curious and proactive candidate, who thrives in a collaborative environment and likes to take initiative. Our ideal candidate is eager to learn and demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills
  • Way of working: The ideal candidate likes to work in a structured way, breaking bigger tasks into smaller ones and tackling one at a time. You should be comfortable interacting with other team members, as well as working independently
  • Experiences & Know-How: Strong analytical skills and a robust technical background in electronics, software or mechatronics. Prior experience (e.g., personal projects) in measurement, measurement automation and data evaluation is highly valued
  • Language: English (German is a plus)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics or other related scientific field

Additional Information

The Bosch PreMaster Program (Gap Year Program) is a two-stage qualification program for committed graduates with Bachelor's degrees who want to complete a Master's degree. After the Bachelor's degree, the first phase provides up to 12 months' practical experience for familiarization with technical and business interrelationships. The second phase comprises the Master's course and includes additional events and seminars as well as personal mentoring on the road to successful completion.
