Weekend & Holiday Shifts: No

On Call Shifts: No

Shift Differentials:

  • Evening - $3.00/hour

  • Night - $5.00/hour

  • Weekend - $4.50/hour

  • Pharm Night - $8.50/hour

Premiums:

  • Standby - $4.00/hour

  • Lead - $3.25/hour

  • Per Diem - 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits)

  • Certification - $2.00/hour

  • Trainer - $2.00/hour

  • Student Coord - $2.00/hour, 2+ = $3.25/hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provides COTA services in accordance with all applicable guidelines, regulations, and Olympic Medical Center standards. Implements the established plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist by providing therapeutic interventions, obtaining data related to treatment provided, and reporting changes in patient status. Confers with supervising occupational therapist and   makes recommendations for alteration of the care plan.

EDUCATION

  • Associate degree from accredited COTA program, required.

EXPERIENCE

  • One year of experience in multi-disciplinary setting or hospital, preferred.
  • One year of outpatient, hand and splinting experience, preferred.

LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS

  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Washington, required.
  • Current National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification, required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
