Senior Accounting Clerk - Accounts Payable

We are seeking an eager, curious, and experienced Senior Accounting Clerk for our Accounts Payable team. They will be responsible for independently utilizing analytical skills to perform proactively and independently assigned high level tasks within deadlines.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Process a high volume of vendor payables ensuring transactions are properly approved, coded, and supported.
• Review aged vendor balances for credit balances periodically to identify and recover overpayments or refunds due.
• Review vendor statements for unusual or aged balances and follow-up as necessary to resolve erroneous or disputed items.
• Assist in managing AP email account. Responding to inquiries in a professional and timely manner for internal/external stakeholders.
• Responding to all vendor inquiries; resolving invoice discrepancies; maintaining records and vendor files.
• Filing and maintaining files that are accurate and up to date.
• While expected results of various individual positions may vary, they will all typically center around timeliness, accuracy, throughput, and integrity of information.

Must haves:

• A minimum of two years of Accounts Payable and/or similar accounting experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis in Excel
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong ability to organize, prioritize and problem solve to ensure the work is accomplished.
• Motivated self-starter
• Customer service experience and attitude
• NetSuite experience preferred.
• Able to operate 10-key to make rapid and accurate calculations.

This role is located in West Jordan, Utah
