Job Summary:
The Raytheon Offset Finance team within the Financial, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization has an immediate opening for an Offset Finance Principal Specialist employee. The Raytheon Offset Organization is primarily comprised of Finance and Contracts employees that support all Offset efforts within Raytheon. The Offset portfolio consists of over 100 programs in more than 15 countries, with a total Obligation balance over 18B. The analyst will be an integral team member in helping to manage the Offset Obligations and will get exposure across all of the Strategic Business Units as well as different functions and Leadership Teams. This financial role serves as a critical business partner by providing analysis, insight and guidance to program leadership in order to enable strategic decisions leading to program execution and fiduciary success around Offsets. This diverse portfolio of programs includes 15+ countries that have unique offset policies, working with FMS and DCS programs, and working with our REL and RSA Businesses. Therefore, the ideal candidate must be able to prioritize and allocate resources in a challenging, deadline driven environment.
What You Will Do:
The offset role is a unique position which requires individual drive and integrity for success, as the Offset Team is small and works on a variety of different programs. Culture is of high priority in this environment, and it is expected that the candidate is capable of building business relationships, trust and rapport with business contacts within the offset team and a variety of other teams including the program teams, FP&A, Accounting and Estimating and Pricing. As the lead financial specialist for the offset organization, the expectation is that this person has strong organizational skills and will manage the following tasks:
Weekly reporting against Offset and NBI spend
Monthly/Yearly forecasting for our Offset and NBI spend as well as Credit Awards
Leading the quarterly EAC review process for Offset EACs
Reporting internal (EACs, Rplan/Financial Planning) and external requirements and deadlines (Corporate Reporting/PwC Audits) associated with contracts in their purview.
Support the LRP process for financial forecasting, NBI planning, and obligation tracking
Contribute to cross-functional teams with an emphasis on financial implications of team decisions and ensure finance team knowledge of program decisions
Develop, utilize, and disseminate process improvement and tool improvement opportunities to enhance analytical opportunities for the entire finance team
Ad-hoc request support in a fast-paced environment
Provide offset training and mentoring to different functions of finance
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Business or a related field.
Typically requires 5 years of prior relevant financial experience or an advance degree and 3 years of relevant financial experience.
Experienced user of SAP (APEX and/or Prism), RTN PMX, or similar financial systems.
Experience with data analysis, reporting and/or process improvement.
U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Experience with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel, Analysis and PowerPoint.
