Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $106,700.00 - $177,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

This position requires a highly driven process improvement leader who can deliver efficiencies and cost savings in a highly manual work environment with a high degree of process variations. This role provides capabilities to the organization through disciplined process improvement methodologies.
This position will work with all levels of employees in order to gain understanding of day to day operations from the frontline employees and department managers, as well as influencing and attaining buy-in from the leadership on proposed process improvement initiatives. This position will support the requirement gathering process, testing of technology, and driving results in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology requirement Responsibilities:

  • Support requirement gathering process with team at joint development sites

  • Support strategy of designing future operational technology

Requirement testing responsibilities:

  • Work with technology in the field to test functionality and partner with technology teams on enhancements

Training and Change management responsibilities:

  • Partner with change management on building training plans

  • Act as subject matter expert and trainer on Technology

  • Support training and change management efforts around technology and process

Drive process improvement at operating sites

  • Lead change management initiatives to drive improvement in team member engagement scores (LDM and Joint development work)

  • Develop detailed operational improvement plans

Improvement Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership, direction, and expertise to the business unit management staff.

  • Coordinates processes across operational departments to ensure that optimum operation results are achieved.

  • Ensures that effective and efficient operational processes are in place Maintains ongoing awareness of best practices and trends to ensure timely and effective reaction to market changes.

  • Ensures that high standards of client service are maintained through the implementation of best practice processes.

  • Partner with site management to identify gaps in operational plans and create/execute improvement plans.

Design systems and tools to inform requirements for technology projects Communication and Collaboration

  • Collaborates with various region and corporate level support teams within Cox Automotive (Operations Support, Product, Technology, Finance, HR, Safety, Security, etc.) to ensure effective and efficient operational processes are established that align with company objectives/strategies and high quality client service and support.
