We are looking for someone to develop, coordinate, and implement a strategic alumni and industry relations program designed to grow and cultivate a pipeline of industry and alumni donors and increase alumni engagement for the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics.

Responsibilities
Alumni Engagement: Develop, implement, and manage a proactive plan focused on expanding and enhancing alumni engagement activities and communications that result in increased alumni monetary and in-kind support for the department’s academic and research missions. In concert with the communications coordinator, the position creates compelling marketing materials to engage alumni partners. Regularly reports alumni engagement activity and progress toward program milestones.
Industry Engagement: Develop and cultivate relationships with corporate donors, and other external partners such as national labs, research institutes and others. Maintain and expand activities related to obtaining corporate monetary and in-kind support for departmental programs such as Aerospace Industrial Affiliations Programs, Workforce Initiative Program, Fall and Spring ASE/EM Industry Day, Summer Undergraduate Research Internships, and sponsored capstone projects. In concert with the communications coordinator, the position creates compelling marketing materials to engage industry partners. Regularly reports industry engagement activity and progress toward program milestones.
Events: Responsible for all phases of program activities, including planning and execution of high-quality department events related to alumni and corporate development, such as the Academy of Distinguished Alumni reception, Alumni Happy Hours, 40 for Forty Campaign, Alumni Tailgate, Alumni Mentorship Program, Distinguished Speaker Series, External Advisory Committee meetings, and Fall and Spring ASE/EM Industry Day.
Development: Responsible for working with the development team and the research relations team to create and implement proper stewardship planning for Cockrell School donors and Corporate partners. Maintains frequent interaction with other University depar
