About the job
As a Procurement trainee, you will report directly to the Head of Global Procurement. You will be an integral part of the Global Procurement Department, focusing on raw materials, transport, and resale. You will ensure seamless coordination and alignment of procurement activities within our business objectives. You will assist in building and maintaining positive relationships with our suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance, and adherence to our contractual agreements. You will support our sustainability journey and our implementation of digital tools. In this position, you will travel to our suppliers, customer sites, and production plants.
In addition, your tasks will include:
- Conducting market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging suppliers
- Assisting in the preparation of purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement-related documents
- Data analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for optimization
- Being the main point of contact for procurement-related projects
- Playing a supportive role in preparation for negotiations
The recruitment process for the Global Trainee Program is a multi-stage process that spans several months from February 2024 to June 2024. The stages include the Video Application stage, the Interview stage, and the Assessment Center stage. Successful candidates will be issued their contracts in June 2024 and will start their position in September 2024.

What we expect from you in terms of
Education, skills & knowledge
- A bachelor's or master’s degree in supply chain management, economics, finance, business administration, or similar field of relevance
- Data analytic skills and high affinity with Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
Languages
- English – Proficient/Fluent
- Any other language will be an asset
Work Experience
- Initial work experience (internships etc.) in the field of procurement
